The successful applicant will have a bachelor’s degree in child and youth care, psychology or a related field, a minimum of five years of experience working with young people with complex needs, at least one year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
The position also requires a clear Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check from the RNC or RCMP; Child Protection Record Check; First Aid/CPR certification; valid Driver’s license and use of a private vehicle while at work. Successful candidates must submit proof of residency.

Responsibility
The Program Supervisor oversees the operation of alternate care programs for young people with complex needs. Specific duties and responsibilities include developing and implementing therapeutic programs; providing guidance, support and supervision to the child and youth care team; liaising with other professionals; and completing administrative and operational tasks.
