Hello

I am wondering if anyone has any resources / information regarding running
group workshops in correctional facilities; specifically paying attention to
issues related to gang involvement. Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome
	and greatly appreciated!

	Thanks,

Kerrie,

I did group work with Aggression Replacement Training(ART) with juvenile
offenders. At first they're very suspect, trying to figure out what type of
trick I am up to. But after a few sessions they realize I am only trying to
teach them pro-social life skills, to correct thinking errors (cognitive
distortions)and anger reduction. This works well with gang involved youth.

Call or email if you want further information.
