  • If you work with troubled children, youth and their families, there are probably times when you wish you could just talk with somebody about what's going on or what you might do?. Like, "this is what happens when I try to engage John ... I wonder what's going on?" Or, "I have tried this, and this, and this and nothing seems to be working? Has anybody got any ideas about something else I can try?"
  • If you are a supervisor of people who work with troubled children youth and/or families, you probably sometimes have a similar experience. You might wonder, for example, about what makes for effective supervision, or how to deal with a tricky supervisory problem. Or about how to help a program develop in a certain way. And you would just like to knock a few ideas around.
  • If you run an agency, you might also wonder about things. Like, how to develop certain policies, or what seems to be going wrong, or how to develop a new program, or how you are going to chose among various alternatives. Sometimes you might just like to share thinking with someone.  Or, you might be a troubled youth or family member with questions of your own, about your relationships, what you're doing, the services which might help, etc.

If you have a question, or want to knock around some ideas, and doing it on-line feels right to you, then feel free to send an e-mail in which you talk about what's going on and the wondering you are doing. This exchange is not going to answer your questions or provide you with the right answer, but it might get you thinking
about some new possibilities. There is no charge for this service.
